Chemical reactor technology as
a key to chemical process design and operation , covers the main areas of reaction
engineering and analysis, reactor process technology, scale-up and design, and in
addition studies of transport phenomena, kinetics and thermodynamics.
The most important research areas can be listed as:
- Mathematical modelling of chemical reactors
- Multiphase flow modelling
- Experimental analyses of fluid flow and heat
transfer phenomena in chemical reactors
- Experimental validation of theoretical methods and
models
- Environmental technology
Furthermore we are a very nice group of people! About ten PhD students
(1/3 from abroad), three Post-doc, two professors and about 4 SINTEF researchers
will take very good care of you. Cake every Friday, frequent beer gatherings,
and hikes in the surroundings to NTNUI cabins.
