This
Conference started in 1995 as only three sessions and by 1999 it had expanded
into the First International Conference. Since then, this Conference has
continued to expand and evolve into the premier technical meeting on petroleum
phase behaviour while alternating between North American and European
locations. It provides a forum for the exchange of ideas, problems and recent
findings in the phase behaviour of petroleum, petroleum-based emulsions,
including the formation and mitigation of organic solid phases, such as
asphaltenes, waxes, diamondoids and coke with application to production and
refining. It is one of the few meetings that attracts both industrial and
academic researchers, both production and refining engineers, and
representatives of most of the countries involved in developing new petroleum
technology.
